I just want a Toronto-New Jersey 1st round. I'm going to NYC and Toronto in May and I need one of those teams still playing...so I can spend a big amount of money on a ticket Good luck on your quest to see a game. I imagine getting a ticket in Toronto would be quite expensive as the fans there are pretty rabid about their team. Have you ever been to a playoff game before? It's quite an experience...

No. I saw tickets for sale for the 1st round for $110 (the worst possible seats probably). They probably increase for the 2nd round. Hell, might as well hope no team gets there so I don't spend that kind of crazy money.

You just do it. Whenever I go to Europe, I pay whatever it takes to get great seats for my soccer games. I love me some Champions League games live...as long as I'm not sitting near the place where they separate the home/away fans. The crazy people sit there...

You just do it. i agree with you. while tickets for the big sports are exhorbitant, playoff games are something entirely different. the atmosphere is totally different and you can feel the excitement. in terms of sporting events, there's not much better than a great playoff game experienced live.

Pem, do you know if they sell tickets for the 2nd round before teams actually have that locked up?
PS: I've been to plenty of champions league games and I doubt you'll ever pay $1000 for any ticket like you can for a seat in a playoff game. Still I'd love to go to one. Even far far away up.

On the 2nd week of May. From what I see, I'll have a better chance of landing a ticket if the Nets move on. PS: Look in those tickets sites. I saw some still for sale. They might be overpriced but there were still tickets for Toronto round 1. Game 1: 2 tickets SEC:318 ROW:11 $103 each www.tickco.com/Map/listTickets.aspx?pid=479389&l=103&h=103Nowadays is easier to buy anything online that on the local.

Usually, the answer is yes. But I imagine that is based on a team-by-team basis. And you're right, I'd never pay $1000 for a champions league game, though I did pay 90 pounds a ticket to see Fiorentina against Arsenal (at old Wembley) back in the day.

Just curious if anyone still thinks the Mavericks 'didn't care' who they played? Rough series for them...

if you are looking for tickets and are going to be in NYC get nets tickets, i think you can get bad seats for about $40 (yea fan support sucks)
and dam. what a great mavs-warriors series honestly i didnt htink i would be saying this, but the warrriors have a shot at making the finals. Rockets will likely beat the Jazz Warriors would demolish the Yao as he would be exhausted after 1st quarter. And if thye can contain T-Mac it will make for an interesting series. Then if they can get this far, the WCF is going to be interesting. If there is a Suns-Warriors series im wathicng every game, cuz that will be the most entertaining basketball ever. Hah i love cheering for the underdog. The farther they get, the larger amount of people who will root for them. Gonna be interesting how far they can actually go

Great series indeed but although I'll be cheering for them I don't think Warriors can go much further. It's hard to imagine those 3s will keep falling at that percentage from just about anywhere. Even fadaway on one leg lol. Like the TNT guy said, those laws of average will have to kick in sooner or later. Baron ain't a 50%+ shooter from downtown. But I'd sure love to watch a Suns-Warrios WCF.

Warriors are the hottest team in the league. If Dallas plays their starters and wins, they aren't in this position...but who is to say that they would have even won after watching this series? I think they match up well against everyone but the Spurs. A Warriors/Suns series sure would be fun.

I can see them giving the Rockets or Jazz hell next round. A lot depends on Barons hammy.
I don't know if they'll keep shooting the 3 ball as well as they are, but their style of play and the matchups is what killed the Mavs. Way too much quickness for the Mavs to handle. And like they said last night, if they have to go against the Rockets, that's not good for the Rockets..... I would take the Warriors in that series. But after that, they're done.

Yeah, they should have just played their best players and knocked the W's out of the playoffs entirely....but after watching that series I don't think it mattered either way who the starters were, the Mavs probably wouldn't have beat them either way.

Here I am writing from NY and it's now official. I got tickets to the Nets-Cavs game 3 on Saturday. Gonna see Kidd and LeBron live! Look for me. I'll be shouting "Defense! Defense!". I'll probably be the only one so you can't miss me.
