Idk, does this deserve its own thread? I saw a lot of discussion on the Movie Reviews thread, which prompted me to watch Season 1. I loved it. I don't see how it could get better, or even stay that good, in the following seasons, but I'm holding out hope (as I'm about to start Season 2). A few thoughts about Season One:
*SPOILER* 1. I was skeptical at first about whether or not I liked the Nina twist at the end of Season 1, but I think they played it well.
2. Did anyone actually think Palmer would do anything with his assistant? If they tried to make it look like he was actually going to get involved with her, that was a mistake. It was very obvious that he was playing her, but I couldn't really tell whether or not that was intentional.
3. Every time Palmer's wife opened her mouth, I wanted him to pimpslap that bitch. Hard.
4. David Palmer makes Barack Obama look like Richard Simmons.

Season 1 was phenominal, Season 2 was perfect, however.
*spoiler*
The twist with Nina was excellent, all along I thought she was pretty sincere and was trying to help out but to place that twist in what, the end of the second to the last episode? Golden.

Dennis Haysbert's performance as David Palmer is one of the most arresting television performances I've ever seen, he's a very, very interesting character.
Just wait til' you see Season 2, David. Although they killed off my favorite character (I won't say who), I still thought that was a flawless season.
I'm in the middle of Season 3 right now, which is really good as well.

It doesn't get too much better than season 2 IMO.

If you watch episodes on Megavideo, or any site that links to Megavideo, they've all been taken offline. :/

Just buy all the seasons for like 10-15 bucks off Ebay.
That's what I've been doing all summer...

Can't decide who is hotter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) or Michelle (Reiko Aylesworth). Both are treats to watch by themselves . Thoughts?

Definitely Elisha Cuthbert. I've always thought she's one of the hottest actresses out there, period.
As far as Season 2, I'm on Episode 16, so
*SPOILER* the bomb just went off. The first 2 episodes or so of season 2 sucked, but since then it's been good. And even though it was predictable, the development with George was brilliant (he was probably my favorite character too, if that was even who you were talking about). I'll save anything else I have to say until I've finished the season. *SPOILER*

*spoilers*
Yep, you were right. Mason became my favorite character in Season 2 just because of how complicated he was. But he went down in style, and I think the scene between him and his son was probably one of the most powerful featured on "24". Xander Berkeley did a hell of a job with that character, he was a pain for most of Season 1, but in Season 2, he really made you feel for him right from the time he got the radiation poisoning.
Funny fact I read today about Carlos Bernard (who plays Tony Almeida). In Season 2, I think its actually where you are David, Jack punches him into a wall, which sprains Tony's ankle. Funny thing was, the crew for "24" peppered that into the script because Bernard sprained his ankle in a pick-up basketball game in real life, and needed to be on cruches.
*end spoilers*
Cuthbert is gorgeous, I agree, I've thought so myself. Reiko is pretty sexy as well, though.

I'm nearly done Season 3, I got about three episodes to go.
Late in this season, it made the jump from being really good to now fricken awesome good. I'm really into it, there's certainly a lot of twists as expected in this season, but the one they pulled a few episodes from the end (although kinda predictable) was smart and its amping the action up big time. I'm looking to get Season 4 now.

I'm into Season Three now, and wow. They must have really been intent upon making Kim Bauer look hideous in this season. It hurts just to look at her now. I also don't like that they placed her in CTU, since in Seasons One and Two, she seemed...well, not quite dumb, but then again not smart enough to work on the tech team at CTU.
And on top of being gorgeous, like you said, Reiko is really impressing me as an actress. She does the little things (the mannerisms) that make film actors stand out.

Kim's haircut is pretty hard to get past, I agree with you. I was surprised she was working for CTU because she was a total idiot in Seasons 1 and 2 IMO (going after Rick continuously in Season 1, "I have to get Megan" in Season 2...wtf!). I finished Season 3 last night, as was still left impressed. Reiko is indeed a very beautiful and effective actress, I'm surprised her career is pretty much on the downside now (the last movie she had a big role in was "AVP - Requiem"...yikes).
Season Four should be coming in the mail tomorrow, I can't wait. I need to get Seasons 4 and 5 done in like 2-3 weeks before college starts so I can be completely caught up when Season 7 starts in November.

Yeah, I want to get to a good stopping point before I head off to college too, but only because I'm afraid I might flunk out in my first semester if I don't! ;D

Started "Season 4" and am about 6 episodes into it.
Its off to another fast start, this show is just phenominal if you continue to allow your suspension of disbelief to be in effect. The episode I just finished through in a great, great twist at the end of it. I'm impressed so far with this season, yet again.

Watching season 6 over. Last season is in the top 3 IMO. Great storyline. And damn, the Nadia chick is so fucking hot.
