YES!!
I'm happy just because now the case against Bonds looks more bullshit than ever.
Now everyone who was wishing that A-Roid would break Bonds record need to shut the fuck up. Bottom line is that everyone was doing it. It is the steroid era. So just give everyone their respect, or disregard all stats in the era. Stop the witchunt against Bonds, or go after everyone.

I would say it would be very shociking if i ever found out he was. Tony was a player I looked up to and modeled my game after as a kid, and despite being a Padre, is one of my favs of all time.
At the same time, we don't know for sure. But if he did, it wouldn't make me think less of him, or any player that did it. It was obviously a level playing field, because most players were doing it.

Yeah, is this really all that much of a surprise? One of the best power hitters during the latter parts of the steroid era, come on. I'm sure the majority, if not all of the great power hitters during that era were on steroids. Pujols anyone? It really is sad, but I'm not really surprised or shocked by it anymore. The question now is, do any of these guys get voted into the Hall of Fame? Maguire will probably set the precedent.

I just hope nothing comes out saying Griffey took steroids my favorite player of all time. Good to hear nothing about him has come out.

Main reason bonds is being dealt with is because he lied, and is still LYING. Just fucking admit it already! I give A-rod props for admitting it, all of them should admit it, the whole list should be shown to the public not just one players, everyone.
Its the steroid era, but who is to say Steroids haven't been in baseball longer then just the last 20 years? A main reason that players take steroids is to stay healthy or to get healthy. So, guys might have hit more home runs lately with the roids because the strength and conditioning/training is far more extensive then the old days of baseball.
My question would be, those old time pitchers and shit use to pitch on 3 days rest, come out of the pen, pitch un-likely innings every year, reason why Cy young has so many damn wins, who's to say these guys weren't taking roids to keep healthy and play all those innings?
Hopefully, the game of baseball will get much better. Of course I think there needs to be a salary cap, and ticket prices should be way lower because owners don't need to be making that much damn money.

A-ROd is a sucker for the fact that he is pretending like he's coming out and doing this great thing. He is only coming out because he got caught, and is only sorry that he got caught.
Congress needs to let this shit go (with everyone) All records are tarnished, so just move on. Ain't nobody trying to see baseball players in jail for shit that a huge percentage of the league is already doing. And so they lied, do you really want these guys in jail away from thier families for a year, for stupid shit like this?

It's complete bullshit that congress is involved in any of this. It should be up to Major League Baseball to investigate whether or not their records are tarnished - not the taxpayers.
I love what the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said about it: "The American people need leaders who will focus on stemming job losses and getting credit to flow in the marketplace before hearing from yet another person who cheated both himself and the game of baseball."
Yeah, ya think? Maybe if you idiots were doing that for the past 5 years we wouldn't be in the economic mess that we're in today.
