I think Hendo deserves to get a title shot at Silva, regardless if Silva beat him. Everybody else gets second chances to try and beat the champ, why not Hendo. Considering he looked like he won the first round against Silva when they fought and one of the only men to take Silva down. He also gassed in the second round because he dropped wait late and had not done it in awhile.

Honestly I dont see how Hendo beats Anderson Silva. At best I could see him winning maybe 1 or 2 rounds with takedowns but I really cant imagine him being able to do that for 25 minutes without getting caught.
The only way I see someone beating Silva is by taking him down, getting a dominant position, and having either brutal gnp skills or strong submission skills. Hendo can get the takedown but he doesnt have the skills to finish Silva or even put him in much danger. If Hendo could manage to drag the fight to the 4th or 5th I guarantee you Silva will still be pretty fresh and Dan will be gassed and that wont end well for Hendo.
I want Marquardt to beat Dan so he can get the rematch and then I want to see Silva rematch Okami both of those fights would be good.
Kimbo did slightly better than I thought against Nelson, when he stopped the first takedown I was impressed and his stand up looks good but his ground game still needs a LOT of work.

Kimbo failed. At least Roy Nelson is semi-amusing, occasionally. Double whopper with cheese, anyone?

Should be an entertaining fight, and it's just what both of these guys need - someone who will fight standing up with pretty much no threat of a takedown.
I wonder what weightclass this is going to be at. Alexander is usually a Light Heavyweight, but I don't think Kimbo can cut that much so I have to assume Alexander's going to HW for this fight.

rashad got the win, but he was in survival mode at the end. Thiago fucked up and let him off the hook. should have kept attacking

agreed, was pretty entertaining watching him mock Rashad, because that is exactly the way Rashad fights. I can't stand his style of fighting really, it was definitely smart for him, but all he does is bounce around and try to counter punch and really doesn't bang like people think he does. Same thing happened in the Liddell fight and Liddell got frustrated and charged at him more and took a counter right to the face.

rashad actually started to become more of a standup fighter, but after he got shown up by lyoto he went back to his wrestling style for this fight. All he did was punch and shoot, so it's Thiago's fault for not adjusting. Rashad did it every time so you knew it was coming.

i missed it. Had to leave. I saw round one and it wasn't too bad. Before that they showed some knockouts of the year and there were some pretty good ones. One Guy got body slammed on his head and knocked out
