Titans traded Kevin Byard to Philly for booboo. Grizz Steven Adams out for the season before the season starts. Can't my teams give me some good news for once?

Great trade for eagles. He’s great.
Ok, with titans season done. What is my rooting guide? Let’s see.
NFC contenders
-Eagles. Probably top team I’ll cheer for. Some titans on roster, Hurts is easy to cheer for, cool colors, fans are more intense than annoying and I liked so many past eagles teams with waters, mcnabb, TO.
-49ers. Will be rooting against. Don’t like their vibe. Kindof want to see Purdy blow his wad. Didn’t like them back in the day. Fans aren’t fun.
-Cowboys. Obviously rooting against them.
-Lions. Could get behind them in that underdog way. Good modern offense. Tough defense. But their coach’s intensity goes from cool to too much pretty quick.
Any other nfc contenders? No one from nfc south. Maybe Seahawks out west. But they don’t have a QB. Maybe Rams but 49ers are going to kill whole division. So no. Only 4 real contenders. I’m cheering for eagles.
AFC contenders
-Chiefs. Can’t cheer for the favorite. And fans are some of the worst (many relatives). Though I am in favor of more Taylor swift reaction shots during the game. Make it split screen even. Watching Taylor swift watch football is more enjoyable than most NFL games. More swift I say.
-Bills. They are likeable. Fun fans. Would be cool to root for them to get over the hump. Snow games are fun and they tend to have them. A maybe.
-Dolphins. Best offense in the league. Team having fun. Fans aren’t abundant enough to be annoying and most deserve some success after the debacle it has been since Marino left. What is going against liking them? Is their coach likeable? Hill too sure of himself? I don’t know. It may be between bills or dolphins. Years of hating Pats has made rest of division seem better
-Ravens. I really do like their style of play. They are too much a rival of Titans.
Is that it? Only 4 real contenders again? I don’t think Steelers (QB), Browns (QB) or Chargers (def) are real contenders.
So I go with dolphins or bills. Probably dolphins right now.
Eagles and dolphins
Let’s replay last weeks game for the Super Bowl.

NFC: Easy to root for the Lions, good story. Covered the conference pretty well, not much else but those WC spots will be interesting.
AFC: Dolphins are hella fun to watch. Think the Jags deserve to be on that list, tho probs at the bottom of it. Not contenders but I enjoy watching the Jets week-to-week, that defense is amazing and they somehow still have a chance at the playoffs. Maybe the Texans can make a run also.
I don't mind the Taylor Swift coverage. It's fun, it's different and Kelce is balling, I don't get the hate.
Disappointing 49ers loss but not panicking. No clue what Purdy was thinking on those INTs tho. The Vikings played well, back in the playoff mix.

I want to root for the Bills, but they seem to be a step back this season.
In NFC, Lions would be fun to get behind, but I don't think they can really compete with the Eagles/9ers come playoff time.

The Dolphins are just fast; not a great team. Look at who they've beaten:
Chargers (2-4)
Pats (2-5)
Broncos (2-5)
Giants (2-5)
Panthers (0-6)
Yet they've lost to:
Bills (4-3)
Eagles (6-1)
Will they make the playoffs? Yah. Will they be able to beat quality teams when it counts? Prolly not.

Friends wasn't actually good, it just got big ratings because it wasn't competing against the likes of Mash, The Office, Cheers, 30 Rock, Modern Family, Parks and Rec...etc. The only competition it had was the later seasons of Seinfeld, which destroyed it. Managed the game, made the throws that needed to be made, didn't make mistakes.... Like a WAY less sloppy Mac Jones |
