Idk I find it weird to move to the city and root against the team. I consider the Mavericks my #2 team now, but the Cowboys have Dak Prescott so I'm out on that alone. Actually most people don’t change nfl fandom when the move. That’s why you see fucking Pittsburg Steelers fans everywhere. I adopted Astros and rockets. Watching all those games on local tv encourages you to support the local team. Nfl doesn’t have enough games for that. Fuck the Texans. Yeah, that makes sense. I've been meaning to go to a Stars game and my office gives Mavericks tickets. I'm still watching the Texans out here. |

I can’t root for the Texans. Divisions are too powerful in nfl. Ask any of our nfc east fans here in SLOR what they think of the other nfc east teams. I’ve spent more time in houston rooting against the Texans than for the titans. I WILL BURN AT THE STAKE AND PISS ON THE GRAVES OF EAGLES, COWBOYS AND REDKINS!!!! |

Also sticking with the Titans and not rooting for the Texans has probably helped for the past decade also tbf Texans looking solid now tho, Demeco Ryans is legit. Thursday night games are almost always a shit show and should be banned, BUT the Rapid Recap thing on Amazon Prime that recaps the top 10 or so plays to get you caught up to where the game is at is freaking amazing. What a fantastic idea.

Purdy looked good yesterday Jalen Hurts looked good yesterday. And yes, thats intentionally disingenuous. I'm a big time Hurts fan, think hes one of those guys that was going to succeed wherever he went. Philly has built the offense around him not the other way around. There is exactly one QB right now I think I take over Hurts and thats Mahomes. Herbert, Allen might be more physically talented but I really am a big fan of Hurts total makeup. Top QBs have bad games. But man you gotta love it, Purdy has one bad game and the haters jump in. Literally has had one bad game in his entire career thus far. He'll have more. But c'mon man! And everything was set up against him too. East coast game at 10am San Fran time coming off an emotional(and SNF!) game the previous week. Raining against one of, if not the, best defenses in the league and played basically the entire second half without Deebo or CMC. And guess what? He still did his job, led the team down to kick what should have been a gimme FG that was missed. Even after his poor day the man still put us in a position to win. |
