i'd say east now because of the pistons but because of new orleans switching to the west, i'm not really sure.

west have been the best for a long time and now that the hornets moved there... it just got even better lol... ill vote west... its got more teams that are better... in the east u could have like 50% wins and get like 3rd seed its crazy as for the west you would barely make the playoffs with 50% winning rate...
i would rate the currant teams throughout the whole league in this order:
1. Pistons (east) 2. Spurs (west) 3. Twolves (west) 4. Pacers (east) 5. Mavs (west) 6. Miami (east) 7. Kings (west) 8. Lakers (west) 9. Rockets (west) 10. Portland (west) 11. Denver (west) 12. Phoenix (west) 13. Memphis (west) 14. NJ Nets (east) 15. Hornets (west)
and then some more sh!t teams...

first of all. Denver's in the west.
West has much more talent at the 4-11 seeds, but east competes with the west 1-2-3.
I think west is overall way better than the east

The West, because............in the east we still have to see if shaq meshes well with Dwayane Wade in Miami and see if the Stephen Jackson for Al Harrington trade was good for the pacers (in my opinion it sucked for the pacers, great pickup by hawks).
The west is better because they're are teams there set to win a championship. San Antonio, Minnesota, and Sacramento are the main contenders.
Pistons, Miami, Pacers <<<<<<<<<<< San Antonio, Minnesota, Sacramento

Its a tuff one when you get down to the top teams in each conf. All the top teams can really beat each other on any given night.

yeah, top 3 teams are pretty equal, I give the edge to the west by a little. But besides the top 3 in the east none would even make the playoffs in the west

West is by far better, except the pacers and detroit. It shouldnt even be an arguement
