Ok, my bad forgot about the former defending champs, but still no one in the west did as good against the spurs as did the sonics. They were one shot away from making game 7 out of the series and almost moved on.

The Spurs were also one shot away in game 3 from making that series a 3-0 lead, and no way they sonics would move on if allen would've made that shot anyways IMO, still had to go back to san antonio to play game 7, the best home team in the league. Sonics won't even make the playoffs this year, you can mark my words on that.

lol, and if they do somehow get a better record than the spurs then I bet they'd be your new favorite team.

lol, and if they do somehow get a better record than the spurs then I bet they'd be your new favorite team. that made no sense whatsoever, just to let you know. The Sonics had a fluke year, they went from a team way outside of the playoffs to a 3rd seed. Now with James (as much as he sucked, who else do they have, Potapenko), and Daniels (very valuable to that system last year) gone, as well as Nate McMillan (who turned that team around IMO with the system he established for this season), I don't think the Sonics will make it. They keep on getting hated on cuz they're a fluke team, they had one good season and now they won't make it back, atleast for this year, because I have questions about their new coach, as well as losing their assistant coach to the Wolves. I could be wrong, and I very well might be, thats my prediction though, it is a prediction thread isnt it?

It made a lot of sense actually, you bandwagon on teams so if they started doing well there's a decent chance you'd be a fan "ever since the Rainman Days"

What the hell are you talking about spurs? They didn't lose their assistant coach, it is bob weiss and he is the new sonics coach. jerome james is terrible-5ppg and 3rpg, that sounds like the key part to a 52 win and division title team. And nate mcmillan how do you know is that great? His career wins and losses are 212-183, which isn't superior. Daniels is a good backup role player, but he can be replaced whith guys like murray and wilkens. And the sonics allowed the 2nd least rebounds per game by a team. So they aren't letting teams get rebounds which i think is a huge part in winning games.

It made a lot of sense actually, you bandwagon on teams so if they started doing well there's a decent chance you'd be a fan "ever since the Rainman Days" please explain how I bandwagon teams, please. NBA: I've liked the spurs for over 10 years, well into their sucky years when Robinson got hurt and they got lucky in the lottery with Duncan then they won their first title. So there goes your argument there NFL: Tennesee Titans: Have been my favorite team for a long, long time, still is. Unlike Eagles fans all around me, I don't just spaz over one game thats lost and say the season is over, titans have a nice young core and I liked them even before they went to the Super Bowl and got robbed by one yard MLB: Red Sox. You might think I bandwagon them just like those fake ones who call themeselves fans after they finally won. I took a break from liking baseball for about 2 years, then I got really into the 2003 ALCS with the Yanks vs. Sox, I pulled for the Sox just cuz I've always hated the Yankees, and when I saw Boone hit that HR to win the game, I decided the Red Sox were the perfect team to root for when it came to playing the team I hated. So, calling me a bandwagoner for an 85 year old cursed team, thats not a great argument there either, its because I hated the Yankees so much that I pulled for the Red Sox, not because the Sox were totally awesome and won titles year after year like the definition of "bandwagoner" comes from, the guys who hop off to root for the great teams or the teams their friends like. So if you want to keep on thinkin I'm a bandwagoner, go right ahead, but you don't know me personally or the teams I've liked for however long I've liked sports, so saying in posts over and over again that I'm a bandwagoner is really not a smart choice IMO.

I never said TOP assistant, I said he was one of the good assistant coaches Seattle had, reason why he got the head coaching job in Minny. We'll see who's right at the end of the season, this was a prediction thread so I made one, and if you don't like it or don't agree with me, thats yours, just let me stick with mine.

Yeah, there weren't any Red Sox fans when they lost to the Yankees in 2003. Nobody liked that "85" year cursed team. Everyone hates the Yankees aside from Yankees fans, but the Redsox definitely are not my favorite team. You jumped on the bandwagon after you saw they were a good team in 03. As for the Spurs/Titans, you prolly just jumped on em when they got good, but you will refute this so it isn't worth arguing. Arguing with me about this isn't a very smart choice IMO.

Yeh well you've basically just called me a liar, and I don't appreciate that at all, so I think I'll just end it at that, worthless to argue with someone who basically accuses me of lying, so w/e man.
