From the Charlotte Observer...
As today's trade deadline looms, Charlotte coach Bernie Bickerstaff expressed some interest in dealing for Nets' Marc Jackson.
"I wouldn't rule it out," Bickerstaff said of acquiring Jackson. "But it would have to be beneficial to us in several ways." Jackson reportedly makes $4.55 million this season and $4.875 million next season, so they probably won't have to give up that much to acquire him. He's only getting 4.6 PPG in 11.7 minutes per contest.

From the Houston Chronicle...
At least five teams are considering acquiring Derek Anderson in a deadline deal today.
The Rockets have tried to complete a deal to move Anderson to the Heat, Cavaliers, Lakers, Nuggets or Magic. The Rockets would like to add a backup point guard or draft picks for Anderson.

From the St. Paul Pioneer Press...
Marko Jaric, who says the tendinitis in his left knee is no longer a problem, feels he will traded some time before today's 3 p.m. ET deadline.
"Definitely I am a candidate," to be traded, Jaric said after Wednesday's practice. "If you don't play for the last two weeks and you go from the starting lineup to not playing … as much as people say they want you here, something's wrong, obviously." It looks like Marcus Banks and Anthony Carter will man the point guard duties for the T-Wolves the remainder of the season.
