I personally think we evolved as well. What came before us? Where did the universe come from? Regardless of what religion you are, the fact that our universe (and the human race) is here can't be explained without a creator. Science points to it, in fact. And where did the creator come from?

This has got to be the dumbest evolution/science/theist/atheist debate thread I have ever seen. Misrepresented bible stories juxtaposed to evolution myths. Hilarious!

why is it dumb? Can't be any dumber then that fucking picture on your sig, lol. Because half of you guys don't know what evolution is. It has nothing to do with abiogenesis (life evolving from non life) doesn't contradidct itself and isn't disproven by the giraffe neck. That's ridiculous. Its also not a trump card against most religions outside of a strict literal interpertation of the Bible. But, so was discovering the Earth orbited around the Sun. There are many scientists that reconcile both evolution and religion as being true and believe in theistic evolution. Most religions have an everlasting God that came out of thin air. The best answer science has provided us is an incredibly dense incredible small ball of mass exploding and forming the universe. But where did that little ball of mass come from? Why is it ridiculous to believe that a God can exist forever without ever being created but no one ever seems to recall the same could be said for the incredibe dense ball of mass?

So in all reality, neither can really be proved right? Right? Didn't say I fully agree with everything that comes from science, but why do we have to have an answer to why we are here? Does having the answer solve anything? Hell no! Regardless of how you look at it, we still live our own life and make our own decisions.
Please don't throw that bullshit our of God makes your decisions for you because that is crap.

what an awesome gif.
Something put all this shit here. Even nothing has to come from something.

Two galaxies collide and make a big one, did god do that? Is he making more children or god's creatures, because he isn't happy with the ones here?

Science points to it, in fact. And where did the creator come from? The creator has to live outside of time based on the fact that time as we know it was created along with the universe during the Big Bang. But that is a good question.

I have not done the research but have heard other theistic evolutionists cite that physical evidence exists that "proves" "Jesus" did exist. Whether or not he was a supernatural being is more questionable but apparently he was convincing enough to have a significant following at the time.

explain 2 things for me please. How does it happen that no one knows where the burial site ofJ jesus Christ is, and the tomb where Jesus was lain to rest, has no body, how does a dead man move a boulder? The theory of evolution says that humans evolved from apes, apes evolved from something, and that something evolved from a one celled organism.... that one celled organism evolved from volcanic eruptions or something of that matter, but the point is, science does contradict it self to go along with the giraffe theory, the Bombardier beetle has survived for the longest time, its best defensive mecanism should blow it self up... or it should shoot to hard, crushing the bug... yet the right chemical reaction happens allowing itself to escape... if the wrong reaction happens the begin with, theres no beetle... that beetle couldn't have evolved, or it would be extinct from the very beginning

As far as your beetle goes this covers its evolution pretty well www.talkorigins.org/faqs/bombardier.html

I'm sorry, did you just say that no one knows where he's buried and then in the same sentence say that someone DOES know where it is and that there's no body? -Dre

I find it funny that only on threads of debate like these most of you try and use the bigger words to look smarter and therefore win the argument.
The answer to this debate can't be worked out of this thread, people will believe whatever they choose to believe. Noone can change that.
