Uh oh, don't look now but the NBA's favorite little pet team just got that ass handed to them. Especially funny when you consider the annoying ass noise makers they gave to every single fan, maybe they should have a cannon for each fan next?

I get that a little bit, but shit, if he wants to be a cheerleader he should have stayed an assistant. There were some HORRIBLE situational decisions made by the Grizz. But we did fight till the end, something a Pau Gasol-led team never would have done. Again, I think with a better coach this team wins 55 games, EASY. Tony Allen has played pretty shit-tastic this series. Shane Battier put the clamps on Durant when it counted last night. Back to the point about Hollins and his staff and their complete fucking mind loss last night. Down 1, with under a minute, you have a time out to burn, we don't use it. Instead, we go down there and MIke Conley jacks up an early shot clock 3, why? We are down one? Coaches have to be on top of the situation, so should Conley, but Hollins was waving him forward, I think Conley wanted a TO. So then, on the long rebound Conley fouls out, which leads to Gravis having to come in, now granted, Grevis does his the shot to send it to double OT, but still. Also, second mind fucking explosion. ON the inbounds, we have to foul there b/c there are 13 secs left I think. So somehow OJ Mayo, who has 5 fouls, ends up trying to cover Westbrook, OJ is trying to alert the staff/other players that he has 5 fouls and doesn't need to be the one to take the foul since he is one of the few competent offensive players left. Instead, they get it in and he is forced to foul him to avoid any more time runoff. Again, I know Grevis his the 3 and this did not lose us teh game, but having OJ and Conley out really sealed the deal for them as we had NO perimeter scoring options. Great fight by the team, but I feel like we let one get away several times last night, not to mention being up 17 and at one point having a lineup of ISH SMITH, GREVIS, TONY ALLEN, SHANE BATTIER, DARRELL AUTHOR out therre while OKC just ran all over us, its as though Hollins just ceded the 17 point lead for no reason.

Hollins getting skull fucked by Brooks on match ups. Westbrook doing what he want, hollins sits on his hands, fucking idiot. Great cheerleader, horrible in game coach.

if dallas wins it all this year where do people put dirk on the all-time great PFs list? i'd say very very high. not only that, but if he gets a title *and* if he plays a couple of more years like this, you could make the case that he's one of the 25 best players of all time. i'm not saying he is or isn't, but the case could be made pretty easily.

So the draft is tomorrow night. Some interesting things going on. Will the Spurs trade Tony Parker after Mike Conley outplayed him in the playoffs? It seemed to me that the Spurs were much better with George Hill on the floor, although he is not a pure PG. What can they get for Parker? He was always a suspect shooter and now he is losing a step or two, so I doubt they will be able to turn him into a top 5 pick, but hell, I could be wrong, people do dumb shit, and the Cavs have 2 picks in the top 5, so they are ripe for the picking. Also KAHHNNNNNNNN.
Also Steve Nash was supposedly dangled in front of Minny for the #2 pick, again, about 5 years to late I think for Phoenix. I can;'t see anybody giving up much for Nash unless they are in a serious win-now mode, maybe the Knicks, but they got nothing to give up. With Melo/Amare they will be in the playoffs in the super shitty Leastern conference for the forseeable future, so their picks are not attractive. Also, Nash only has 1 year left on his deal, so whoever trades for him is gonna want a guarantee of resigning him. Good luck with that, Nash is old and busted, I would be pissed if my team gave up much for him.
And Josh Smith. The Hawks are where I fear the Grizz will be in about 3 years, they acheived some success, but didn't build a championship team, which is not all bad. I mean they were competitive in the playoffs and made some noise, but the team just needs to be blown up. However, they gave Joe Johnson the dumbest fucking contract since Rashard Lewis' dumb fucking contract so they are kinda fucked. Oh and less people go to the Hawks games than the Grizz games, so blowing it up to rebuild should be fun for those (100 or so) in attendance.

I hope the NBA locks out and the only way it comes back is with the Sonics in the league:)

The first one, in this draft I think Tony Parker is worth a pick 5-10 but nothing between 1-4. As for Nash, again this draft is weak enough that I could see Nash getting traded for the THIRD pick, but with D. Williams available at 2, no way. And even so, it wouldn't be terrible to trade the second pick for Nash, but man... Rubio is coming over and you wanna see what he has right away, and that would inhibit that with nash.

I am eager for Rubio to come over and be humbled that way all the people from Spain can calm the fuck down. THey all shit their pants when the Grizz didn't jump at the chance to get him. Maybe I am crazy, but I don't see the reason for all they hype. He looked like SHIT last season, and throughout his career he has never really shot the ball that well. Gonna be interesting, I think Minny is expecting a bit too much.

I wasn't trying to hype Rubio at all BTW. I'm in the same thinking as you, if he can't perform, AT ALL, in Spain what makes anyone think he can here? Maybe he'll prove everyone wrong, but I just don't see it.
