Aah, well still he is only 21 now. The hype is there because he has such great pure PG skills, like a nash. He will easily be able to grow into a nice jumpshot, but the court vision/general will lead to help teams win, compared to flashy stats, so I think he is solid. However, I was telling everybody that Brandon Jennings was going to be better then all the PG's drafted that year, but he got passed on until later.

Washington will take Leonard, very big versatile guard/SF that will play well with Wall actually.

Today has been fascinating. The rumors are flying.
Some things I've read: 1) Half of Utah wants Jimmer at 12, the other half don't. No one still thinks Sacremento will take him at 7, though still possible, no one around Utah, Indiana, or Phoenix think he'll go there. Jimmer's camp also really do not think it will happen at 7. Meaning, if Utah passes, all things point to either Phoenix at 13 or Indiana at 15.
2) The Lakers and 76ers have been in talks with a possible trade that would send Andre Iguodala to the Lakers for Lamar Odom. Not sure why the 76ers would do this, except to change things up and Odom is cheaper, but still. Legit rumor. The holdup? The salaries would not work at all. The Lakers would have to add something, and sources say the Lakers want to add Ron Artest and the 76ers are balking. Also thought to be happening was Lamar Odom to the Wolves for #2, but it was flat out rejected right now. Not happening.
3) Cavs have offered Sacremento and Detroit that huge trade exception they received for Lebron for the 7th or 8th pick. They've offered Sacremento that they will take on Garcia's 7.5 million salary and give them Ramon Sessions in exchange for the 7th pick. They've offered to take on Richard Hamiltons contract in exchange for the 8th pick.
4) Bismack Biyombo looks like hes going to the Raptors at 5(reach) meaning Brandon Knight very easily could fall to Sacremento at 7. That would be interesting with 3 Calipari players matched up.
5) Cavs look poised to take Irving number 1 and Jonas Valanciunas(SP?) at number 4. Derrick Williams said on the Jim Rome show thats not the case and that the Cavs are still internally discussing the pick, and that its 50/50 at this point. I don't buy it. But if that happens, all signs point to Williams at 1, Knight at 4. I would honestly rather go that route, because I believe Williams is way way better than Jonas, and Knight has upside to be good. I think I'd rather have Williams and Knight than JOnas and Irving, just my opinion.
6) The Thunder have spoken with the Kings(7) and the Bobcats(at 9) about their picks in exchange for Eric Maynor, just goes to show you how weak this class is.
7) The only holdup in Tony Parker leaving for a mid lotto pick is the fact that the Spurs will not move Parker unless Jefferson is traded. Simple as that.
8) Jonas is slipping, FAST. If the Cavs do not take him at 4, things could get hairy. He hasn't worked out a buy out yet, and its not certain he will. If he doesn't he'll be in Europe next year, with 2012/2013 as the year for him to come over. He would not fall past Golden State at 11 though.
9) The Blazers/Magic have been in talks all day about a possible deal that would send Jameer Nelson to Portland for Andre Miller and the 21st pick. Bad bad move if you do it Orlando.

Meaning, if Utah passes, all things point to either Phoenix at 13 or Indiana at 15. Dumb move. I take him 22, not 12. But shit its a business, the man will sell some tix to Utah I guess.... Thats dumb as hell for Philly. Lamar Odom is old and busted. Other than money, there is no reason to do it. Would be interesting if the Cavs got 3 high picks, they will be interesting to watch in 3-4 years.4) Bismack Biyombo looks like hes going to the Raptors at 5(reach) meaning Brandon Knight very easily could fall to Sacremento at 7. Williams + Knight >>>>>> Irving + Euro-stiff6) The Thunder have spoken with the Kings(7) and the Bobcats(at 9) about their picks in exchange for Eric Maynor, just goes to show you how weak this class is. If I am the Bobcats i do that in a heartbeat, Maynor is way better than anything the 9th pick will get you in this draft.7) The only holdup in Tony Parker leaving for a mid lotto pick is the fact that the Spurs will not move Parker unless Jefferson is traded. Simple as that. RJ is terrible. NOt sure what happened to him, but he really sucks hard. If this is really the case then Tony Parker shoudl buy a new mansion in San Antonio b/c nobody is taking on RJ.8) Jonas is slipping, FAST. If the Cavs do not take him at 4, things could get hairy. He hasn't worked out a buy out yet, and its not certain he will. If he doesn't he'll be in Europe next year, with 2012/2013 as the year for him to come over. NBA cracks me up, then you have solid guys like Kemba Walker who I think is probably one of the best and most complete player in the draft and ready, but he will slip because of a hope for potential, lol. Happens every year and watch how many busts you get by it.

But i also understand the need to take a swing at the fences in the draft.
