Lmao at hypocritical Seattle people O the irony has not been lost on me that we're just going to be taking another city's team. But at least this ownership group isn't hiding the fact they're moving the team.

Well, at least we have seen progression in Holiday/Turner. I think they could have been a really good team with Bynum so that does blow. Definitely see the progression in Holiday. Turner is looking to me a bit like a younger version of Iggy, with better jumper/rebounding, and worse penetrating/defensive skills. He needs to be able to play without the ball more. Honestly, I've been very happy with Thad Young's progress. The signings of Kwame Brown, Nick Young, and Royal Ivey have been basically what I expected - and that's not a good thing. Ivey is fine as your 3rd PG for blowouts, but I don't think he's a rotation player. He's 31, and if he can't be a rotation PG, why is he here? Maybe for some of the veteran experience he got on the Thunder - that is at least plausible. As much as I hated the Nick Young signing, he's been about what one should've expected - a gunner who will try and score non-stop, and be very one-dimensional. Not good, but has his limited uses. I'm hoping we can deal him for something, like a second round pick. Kwame Brown is a seasoned vet, and can teach you how to lose very well. Teams he's played a lot on have have had success generally despite him. Moultrie needs to play more, and we need to find another fill-in center. I know Hawes isn't really a true center, but Kwame is useless. I'd much rather have a D-League vet who would scrap. Trying to supplement a fairly young core with proven failed Wizards players is NOT a recipe for success. That said, signing Mack is at least a reasonable gamble on an ex-Wizard - he's very young, and seemed like he might be an okay reserve PG moving forward..

You can't have one franchise holding onto two franchises' records by simply adding a completely unrelated franchise onto a preexisting one. If the Sonics & Kings merged that would be different.

Welp, Grizz just made the ultimate cash considerations move. Mo Speights was pretty good off the bench, but I think Darrell Author can be/is better when fully healthy, which is a big IF for him. Also Wayne Ellington had 2 good games all year, the rest were meh. But with Quincy Pondexter out a bit longer we will be thin as hell. Talking about signing Josh Childress...NBA Title here we come.

Absolutely hated that move for Memphis, and it speaks volumes to how this new CBA doesn't work in how it was intended. The Lakers(doing horrible) were able to spend the money and assets to get Dwight and Nash, with huge contracts in Kobe and Pau already on the roster, not to mention MWP's abysmal contract for what he does. While Memphis, actually in the hunt now, has to give up a solid rotation player, a good shooter(something they desperately need), and Selby was being seen as a guy who has made a ton of progress, but just couldn't get into the rotation. Sucks that has to happen.

The lakers/knicks/heats of the world will pay the tax regardless, it would have to get to some unbelievable level before teams like that made roster moves based on the tax, whereas it stiffened the penalties on teams like Memphis. Oh well. My hope is DA can get better and Wroten is a diamond. Otherwise we will be back to square one with Conley getting worn out from playing 40 minutes a night in the playoffs.

I honestly loved the Wroten draft when they made it, but he needs to make better decisions then he did in College. He has Derrick Rose and Russ Westbook like athleticism if he can just put it together like those two did, he'll be a really nice guy. Doesn't have that type of talent, but he can be a nice little spark plug off the bench in my honest opinion.

trade wouldn't have been too bad depending on who we sign if not for including the 1st round pick. That makes this trade complete garbage for us.
