Well, yeah, I'm not watching them either. All I care about is seeing them lose right now. Next year when they get a Wiggins/Parker/Embiid paired with a guy like potentially Gordon...then you'll be appreciate this tank-a-thon season in a few years. This is the first time I've truly loved what the 76ers are doing. When they traded Jrue Holiday...I loved it. Fast forward 8 months, and I love the move even more. Wait - you're a 76ers fan as well? How many of us are out here? I won't EVER appreciate the tank-a-thon season. I might appreciate the players that came with it, but to appreciate the season itself, not a chance. You clearly aren't old enough to remember the prior good teams, or even the good decisions they made along the way. This has basically no chance of being in the top 3 moves of my lifetime for the 76ers. #1: Dr. J for cash #2: Acquiring Moses #3 is either drafting Barkley or Iverson - probably Iverson, even though I hate Georgetown. He was clearly a baller. Yessir...fan of all my Philly sports. Live right in South Jersey...not even 5 mins from the WW bridge. Yeah, I wasn't born yet...was born in 1991...so really, the only thing I can say that's been a great move was the drafting of AI. And I have to disagree...I think this has a serious chance to work out. A lot comes down to the lottery, but if that pans out...they have a chance to be really good within 3 years.

Oh, it has a chance to work out for the better.
But trading cash for Dr. J had an almost 100% chance of working out. As long as Doc doesn't get hurt, it works out.
Signing Moses, the reigning MVP, and giving up Caldwell Jones & their 1983 1st had an almost 100% chance of working out. As long as Moses doesn't get hurt, it works out.
I see no such solution with dealing Holiday and tanking a season, since there were no proven commodities coming back.

If they kept Jrue, they would CONTINUE to be a MIDDLE OF THE PACK team...fuck that...they've been in that stretch for so long...sorry, I'll go this route every single time.
And to your point, who the fuck wants to come here right now??? Especially the way there are cliques, and superstars wanting to join other superstars...the only way they attract superstars is by drafting their superstar...hopefully, that's Wiggins.

There really is no reason stars shouldn't want to go to Philly, it's got a nice basketball history, seems to be, at least to me as an outsider, a great sports town.
I fucking hate the current NBA superstars chasing rings with one another. I think it was Magic that said that he would have never wanted to be on the same team with Bird, he wanted fucking beat Bird to death, not be on a team with him.

All the analytics are saying the Grizz playoff chances are quite high..but I am not sold yet.
We got 11 games left, with only 4 at home. We started a 5 game road trip last night with a W (barely) over shit ass Utah.
Of those 11 games left, 6 of them are against playoff teams.
Looking at it like this:
@gs @portland @denver @minny
Vs. Denver - Have to win at home
@spurs Vs Heat
Vs. 76ers @ Lakers
@phoneix VS. Mavs

Well to update the Grizz are 1-2 after getting only their 5th win EVER at Denver. I remember the good old days of absolutely never fucking winning in Denver. I think we started like 0-21 or something before winning the first game ever up there. We are not 5-29 all time in Denver. Granted, the Nuggz were pretty good with Melo for a while and the Grizz were pretty bad, but damn....
Anywho, the Wolves look dead in the water, so hopefully we can get that W on Wednesday and get 2-2 out of those 4 games, as predicted.
Also, Heat will very much be in hunt or in control of #1 seed, so thanks a lot for falling apart Indy, I guess we didn't help matters much by locking down Paul George. Then the Spurs went on ahead and put the broad side on your face. Welcome to life in the West, where you don't play the 76ers or Cavaliers every night.

Well, just now becoming sober after beating the Heat. If Grizz win out they will be 7th seed at worst, hell maybe 6th depending on how GSW finished up. Don't HAVE to win out, but beating 76ers and Lakers is a MUST. If we were to lose to the 76ers tonight, I might die.
Also, LOL at Mavs PA announcer getting suspended.

God, I cannot believe we lost this game. Portland deserved it though.

God, I cannot believe we lost this game. Portland deserved it though. Great atmosphere in Houston, but I will say it again: any team hitching their wagon to D Howard is not going far. Sorry, it's just not happening. This team would be great with any other legitimate center. Sucks that Rox potentially lost Beverly, b/c without him I don't think Houston will win a single game in the series, especially after losing game 1 like they did. If he is out, I see a sweep.

Sucks that Rox potentially lost Beverly, b/c without him I don't think Houston will win a single game in the series, especially after losing game 1 like they did. If he is out, I see a sweep. >Dwight had 27/15, just saw no help whatsoever from Harden. Don't see how he's at fault besides a horrible first half. >Sweep is going overboard. I'd say without Bev we push it to 6 at least. >It took a 8-28 performance from Harden, 0 free throws in the first half, huge foul trouble from Dwight/Asik early on (granted everyone was in foul trouble by the end but encouraging how Houston led by one at halftime despite no free throws and frontcourt foul trouble) and insanely huge nights from LMA/Lillard to beat us by two. If Bev can make it back into the series, I still view us as the favorites to advance. >Portland played a beautiful game but can't disregard how in control Houston was 2nd quarter till the collapse, some good things to take away from this for Houston. >Granted I don't get to watch every single Rockets game but this was the worst I've seen Harden down the stretch in a while. Also found it kinda lame that we didn't go to Lin more in overtime, he was the hot hand.
