YOOOOOOOOOO just got out of Dune Part 2 and holy fuck what an experience. This movie is absolutely, completely made to be seen on the big screen. If you see this shit for the first time on your TV you are doing yourself a disservice. I'm beyond hype right now and legit cannot express a complaint. I'm sure I'll have one, but right now I just don't. Everythign about it hit on every level. The acting? Fucking spectacular. Everyone killed it in a number of different ways. Austin Butler stole every single scene he was in. Timothee Chalamet has arrived, is a certified superstar at this point and this movie is by far the best performance hes ever given and I thought going into this movie already he was a great actor. Commanded every single scene and only the scene he shares with Butler does he ever come remotely close to not being the best actor in the scene. Zendaya, who some people who have read the books might not like what the movie did here be warned, I really appreciated even if I think her performances suffers a bit just by being in so many scenes with Chalamet. The romance here is really well done and I loved where they took her character. But seriously, every actor kills it.
The sound design is fantastic. Every single decision sound wise feels like it was made with love. The sound mix is good, score as amazing, and the things that should be loud really feel loud. Just not because it is loud but because the sound is designed to feel epic. If you can see it in a Dolby-enhanced theater, do it. The art design and cinematography are absolutely top notch. Every single scene in this movie could be a poster, but scenes on Giedi Prime and the entire third act are some of the best looking film making I've seen in a long, long time. The writing, characterizations, and pacing are all perfect as well but some of my actual thoughts veer into spoiler territory so I'll leave it at that. 10/10 movie though.

Yeah Dune 2 fucked!
Butler was INSANE. I am guessing a lot of people will be shocked that he is the guy played Elvis.

Zero words but that man conveyed what a psycho he was just as easily.

Ricky Stinicky on Prime is pretty solid. Nothing special. Zac Efron being relegated to straight man despite his own comedic ability was a bit disappointing but its all worth it for every single second John Cena is on screen. He might be my favorite comedic actor working today. Unbelievable how funny this man is. Movie struggles whenever hes not on screen but worth sitting through because Cena is that fucking funny. 7/10 on his performance alone. Any other actor in this role and this movie fucking sucks.

New Road House isn't going to win any awards, but entertaining. Don't take it serious and turn your brain off type. Conor was solid. Some guys can't make the acting transition, but he pulled it off.

Sometimes, just sometimes you need a dumb fucking action movie that makes no sense but is well directed, choreographed, and acted to entertain you on a Sunday when you're baked out of your mind. Today, after it became apparent Purdue was in no trouble I turned on The Beekeeper. Fucking 10/10. Absolutely ridiculous plot that never stops escalating in ridiculousness. Statham, Jeremy Irons, and Josh Hutcherson play their roles perfectly and this thing is full of fun action scenes. Legit shocked how much of the actual plot was kept from trailers. Really had fun with this. This will be a fixture for me in the "I don't want to pay attention to anything so lets throw this on" rotation. God what a dumb fucking movie. I loved it.

Gonna have to add that to my list.
Definitely not watching the abomination remake that stomps on Swayze’s grave, what a disgrace!
