Saying Obama has this locked up is a bold statement. If you don't remember the last two elections, it came down to one state both times and seemed to be some bullshit that shouldn't have happened with votes missing and shit, so don't just say its a lock, there is plenty of time for people to set this up and let Mccain win.
I have a hard time believing that its going to be a walk in the park landslide victory for Obama, get ready for the bullshit, will be a lot closer of a race then it should be.

I haven't seen a major poll where Obama isn't at least 8 points ahead. Some have him up to 14 points ahead already. He's got decent leads in most battlegrounds.
Unless McCain's campaign does something amazing or a scandal hits Obama, statistically, it's almost impossible for McCain to mount that huge a comeback in just 18 days.

I read an article saying one thing that could cause Obama to lose is that people that don't want to be viewed as racist may say they'll vote for Obama in entrance polls but when exit polls and actual numbers are released, they vote for McCain.
That factor could cause Obama to lose but beyond that, the numbers right now significantly support an Obama win.

You know who's probably the happiest about this Blagojevich fiasco? Elliot Spitzer. This shit makes his debacle look like childs play. He's now not the most corrupt politician known alive now. It is Gov. Blagojevich.
This is the type of corruption that you see in the movies. This is epic, and it's really sad, because you know this is only the tip of the iceberg. Obama really had to associate himself with some shady characters to get where he is, and it's unfortunate. But he still shouldn't be tarnished by it, but it doesn't help that he's gonna have a stigma from coming from shady Chicago politics. But it is clear that Obama doesn't share the methods of how you get politics done. Politics is shady as a whole, and some more than others, so we should understand that every politician at that level have to associate themselves with shady characters. There is no way that Obama could of known that he was breaking the law on that level, because obviously Blagojevich didn't trust Obama to share that side of him. But it is sad that this is the state of modern american politics, and the pysche of this country is being taken to the edge, and has been on a roller coaster the past months. Resign Blagojevich, you have taken politics to a new low, but also thank you, because now, we can't ever trust a politician fully any more, and you guys are going to have to walk a thin line. And President Elect Obama, I do trust him to do a great job, and bring respectability back to politics, but he has a up hill climb with alot of people, because of where he come from, one of the most corrupt states in the union.
