I can tell you right now that Kwame ain't getting 20 ppg. I will even go ahead and say he isn't gonna get the Most Improved Player. I'd say those are awfully safe predictions. 4 months is a good portion of the season... and your telling me a lineup of nash/bell/jackson/marion/thomas is a playoff team in the west?

We did make 2 huge moves. Wow, congratulations!! I didn't know that you were hired to work in the Lakers front office! Man...I'm jealous...but I'm happy for you at the same time. Err...but wait... That's a practical joke, right? Phil Jackson took over in Chicago in the 1989-90 season. Let's analyze Jordan's scoring stats only before that season: 1984-85: 28.2ppg 1985-86: 22.7ppg (only 18 games) 1986-87: 37.1ppg 1987-88: 35.0ppg 1988-89: 32.5ppg You sure about that?

East: 1. Indiana 2. Miami 3. New Jersey (due to being the winner in a weak division) 4. Detroit 5. Milwaukee 6. Cleveland 7. Chicago 8. Philidelphia
West: 1. San Antonio 2. Denver (due to division) 3. Los Angeles (due to division) 4. Houston 5. Dallas 6. Seattle 7. Phoenix 8. Golden State

Probably the stupidest thing posted on the boards since Jazz said Kobe is better than Jordan.
Kobe didn't have Phil last year, was he any less of a superstar?
Didn't think so.
Phil is a good coach, but it's like steroids. He'll make a good team better, but no he's not gonna take a bad team and make them championship contendors.

#5 Rockets was probably the worst prediction because Lakers will be about 5

No they won't, Lakers won't even make the playoffs, Rockets will be fine once Yao and TMac get back.

lakers might not even make playoffs much less the 5 seed......the rockets are plagued by injuries to both their stars so its safe to say its a season wasted.....they should jsut look to lottery and hope for a real nice pick come june
