I agree with that completly, but no one is out of the hand of God's reach, I'm ruled by Jesus Christ and His Father, who I also my Father.... I pray for Barack Obama, he needs people to pray for him, but it worries me when he doesn't mention God in his thank you speech I specifically remember him saying God Bless America to close it out and his writings about his faith have been well documented within his book. The point is the majority of your religious posts are focused on fear and judgement while the Jesus I read about seems more focused on love.

Just curious... I go to a baptist church in Southern California with what appears to be a completely different message. For example this was the message from a few weeks ago... Here are the videos of the sermons www.sandalschurch.com/media/video.aspI would be very interested in your thoughts about the messages contained within each one. Specifically the "Decision 06" series. You can PM me if you want. No, i completly agree that we should support our elected officials, and I'll do all i can do support Obama, but i don't like him, i think hes leading the US and World into a train wreck, but i've said it in 2 of my posts, I MAY BE WRONG. I pray i am wrong, but you never know, and thats my opionion of whats coming.

Everyone says God Bless America, and its also well documented the kind of Church he goes to.
24But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you." (Jesus/Judgement, same verse) Mathew 11:24
24"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24 Two different verses, but both are very clear that Jesus is warning people about Judgement....

Seriously watch the Pray Non Partisan video and tell what you think is bs and what you agree with.

I would just like to say if any of you mother fuckers voted yes on 8 in California, you deserve to have your rights stripped from you because that is all your doing to homosexuals.
I also hope if your married, you get divorced and you have the worst life because your making decisions that have nothing to do with you.

The Mormons were actually behind that and I really have no doubt that the ACLU will get it thrown out in the courts. Some people were no doubt influenced by bullshit ads.

So you Think Obama is leading us into a train wreck?
What the fuck country have you been living in for the last 8 years? George W. Bush has already led the country into the biggest train wreck possible. But let me guess, George Bush is a christian so I trust him to lead my country.
I will break this down very simple. You can believe in what ever you want, thats fine, but if you believe in these things, your an idiot plain and simple.
War in the Middle East is keeping America Free and safe = Your an idiot.
George Bush did a great job = your an idiot
Not liking Obama because of his religious beliefs and color = your an idiot.
Supporting other countries war or killing other people because of religion = your an idiot.
Any reason that there should be violence other then self defense and to protect yourself, and don't bring up 9/11, Iraq never attacked us, no country in fact ever attacked us = your an idiot.
Basically summing up all the countries in the Middle East as just the Middle East and their bad = your an idiot.
Thinking Obama is a terrorist because his middle name is Huessin = your an idiot and read a fucking book, its a common world name.
If you agree with any of these things, don't bother being in a conversation with me, because therefore I already know your an idiot and have nothing INTELLIGENT, WHAT SO EVER TO SAY!

Is that supposed to make you sound any more rational? You feel it in your heart when you see Obama on the television screen??? You sound about as rational as those fools that feel it in their heart that when they blow themselves up they are going to heaven to bone a hundred virgins. What's wrong with me wanting to look to heaven, wanting to be with MY GOD and be able to escape this awful earth that is full of death, deceit, coruption, leaders like Obama that promise prosperity and change, but when they thank everyone for who helped him get to where he is now, he doesn't thank GOD, as a Christian THAT worries me! As a Christian, I'd prefer to that my leader was a Christian who had the best thought out for people like ME, BUT I REALIZE THAT OBAMA WAS PLACED IN OFFICE BY GOD AND GOD ALONE. And I respect and hope, with all my heart, that Obama does a great job, and does the changes necessary to make this country the very BEST it can be. But, i just don't think Obama is that guy, and thats my opinion. I truly hope that if Obama messes up, that signals the beginning of the end, cuz i don't want to be here if things get worse, thats just me. MY GOD REIGNS! And nothing y'all can say can change that, nothing an election decides can change that, nothing i fret about can change that! Dude...I think it's pretty safe to say that the American voters put him in office. -Dre

i haven't seen a site saying that, but the the Omaha World Herald had an article on McCain and Obama, one of Obama's foreign policies was the abandoning of 90 percent of Middle East campaigns. You shouldn't trust everything you hear from the hillbilly newspapers. Maybe you should take a look at what Obama has to say about it: origin.barackobama.com/issues/foreign_policy/And your previous post suggested that you thought Obama was going to remove "ALL" presence from the middle east (which I agree with, btw) - but that's certainly not what he's going to do. Stop believing everything you hear and start doing some research and logical thinking for yourself.

Dude...I think it's pretty safe to say that the American voters put him in office. -Dre Nah, humans don't do shit. We are just pawns in God hands to make what he desires happen. Nothing is random. At the same time he gives us free will but in the end we will be judged based on what we do here. He loves us all very much but we are doomed and we will be seriously punished. Seriously, I think most religions have a good basis. The morals are good and if they are looked at with the prespective of times, they teach good things. But everytime I see this brainwashed fanatics, who aren't that much different from the Muslim fanatics, I can't help but wish all religions never existed. That and the fact that 90% of the wars the world have seen, have religion in their foundation.

Jogo, whenever you have the time, please read this: www.the-highway.com/pink_freewill.htmlI can't do any better than this is arguing for the sovereignty of God and the free will of humanity. R.C. Sproul ( www.ligonier.org) has a very helpful teaching series on this as well, on book and audio CDs and DVDs. Here is the link to the book: www.amazon.com/Willing-Believe-Controversy-over-Free/dp/0801064120. You can do the "look inside" thing and read whatever is available there. Here is a helpful analysis of some Scriptures involving God's sovereignty of all things reconciled with humanity's free will and responsibility. www.bible.org/page.php?page_id=4040There is so much here, but I encourage not only Jogo but everyone to read at least some of this. Per Obama, I have and will be praying for him, as I know that God has made him our President (and we are commanded by Scripture to pray for our leaders), but I also remember the following: From Justin Taylor at Between Two Worlds ( theologica.blogspot.com): "I am a passionate proponent of God's absolute sovereignty over all things. And surely politics is included in "all things." God removes kings; God sets up kings (Dan. 2:21). God does all that he pleases (Ps. 115:3), and he "works all things according to the counsel of his will" (Eph. 1:11). Even though a king (or a president) appears to be the most powerful person in the land, "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will" (Prov. 21:1). Amen and amen. Theologically, we need to make at least two distinctions. One is between God's secret will (everything that will come to pass) and God's revealed will (what he tells us to do in his Word). The second important point is that God not only ordains ends but also commands and ordains means."

If you think that Obama is going to wreck the country then maybe you should take your ass outside the U.S and see what a train wreck look like.....God shouldn't have anything to do with politics because some of the B.S I hear people to do in the name of God is some of the craziest shit anyone can let come out their mouths. I guess Obama is the reason why we are in this crazy down fall of everything since you seem to want to blame him for everything else. I was out to dinner with the wife yesterday and these white couples were at the table next to us and they were talking how Obama is doing this and that but had no facts to back up anything they were saying. Then they said he didn't like God which made me tell them maybe God doesn't love him because he dropped him into this racist world they looked at me then said nothing else....As I remembered God said to love everyone but I guess you can make god say whatever you want...hint hint.....In a time were we all should be proud of America for making a stand and saying that we are better than a black and white world, all I see is a bunch of stupid ass racist people who have nothing else do in life but to spread hate.....Hate is taught and by saying some of the stupid ass things that has been said in this post then congrats I hope your kids marry outside of their race and let grand ma and grand pa tell them that when America made one of the biggest moments in their life time all they did was hate.

This thread is hilarious. Especially the fundamentalist religious posts. Actually those are more frightening than funny. What is this, the middle ages?
