Magic blew this one, big time. It still perplexes me how professional basketball players can't shoot free throws. The point of basketball is to put the ball in the basket, how do players grow up without learning how to shoot? Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.

for real, the refs handed the TWICE as many FT attempts and the Magic couldnt get it done. Tim Doneghy does not approve of the Magic's ability to help him win his bets!!! Dammit the refs blow the whistles and you make the FT's, what dont you understand about that Magic!!!!
The refs cant trip Derick Fischer as he crosses half court, JAMEER NELSON, why are you behind the 3 pt line?? Guarding the long two???

<---- Still Dominates. Can't wait to see DunkinDan cry about the refs again too when the Magic took almost double the amount of FTs You know why that is? They put it in the paint more than the Lakers. Sorry if the Lakers suck at boxing out Dwight Howard, who was a beast on the offensive glass to start the game (11 rebounds in the first 10 minutes). You really personify the typical Laker fan, classless and biased to the end. I watched a chunk of the game here and there, the only non-call I got upset with was the Kobe elbow to Jameer's face in OT that went uncalled for. Gasol was a total classless act, rough foul by Pietrus, but to get up all in his face, just typical Laker classless basketball, but hey, who doesn't love a big old softee like Gasol talking trash? As said, I'm not watching most of the NBA Finals because it makes me sick how bad NBA referees are. Until David Stern retires the league won't be any better, since he's made the game of basketball into a money hungry big market hugging ratings fest, instead of honoring the integrity of the game.

Dan, if anything, you are always entertaining.
Dominant avatar Dominates. I give Ariza the overall Dominates! tag for this game though.

seriously, howard was given a free pass by the refs, and thats fine. let them play. There was one play where he bltantly threw Pau by the jersey and the ref just stood there and swallowed the whistle.
The elbow to nelson was a flop of all flops, the elbow didnt hit him anywhere near where he started grabbing after he fell.
I am glad Howard got all those boards, b/c he cant score from further than 2 feet out, so he has to do something. And Pau may be a softy, but he is about to win an NBA championship to go with his FIBA title, not too many guys outside of america who have done that. I liked the dunk at the end. There was still quite a bit of time left, he had to score it, its not like they were up 10, it was still a 2 score game at that point. He was just basically laying it in, not like he did a windmill or something. But i dont have a problem with the hard foul either. I hope they dont suspend Pietrus or anything.

The point of basketball is to put the ball in the basket, how do players grow up without learning how to shoot? Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. You know what's worse than that? I understand that sometimes you miss free throws but I never understood why NBA coaches refuse to foul near the end. If you are up by 3 with less than 10 secs to go, just put the other team at the line. What's so hard to understand about that? And then in overtime, the fisher 3 pointer was the 3rd shot of that offense. If they can't get 2 rebounds, they have nothing to cry about it. Magic can only blame themselves for not being in the series. Mostly Van Gundy cause there's no excuse to not put the Lakers on the line in the last seconds.

Nah man I'm seriously laughing my ass off. You are a clown. You laugh at the truth? Another honorable Laker fan trait. When even the most famous Laker hater is able to admit the Magic got the calls last night and you can't. It's time to reevaluate your grasp on reality. sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/090612&sportCat=nbaYour second complaint is even more absurd. Your complaining about a man's verbal reaction to being flagrantly fouled and how its a sign of low class. Just think about that for a second.

Where did I say the Magic weren't getting all the calls? All I said was that they put it in the paint more, and Howard was grabbing offensive boards like a monster. I also said the only non-call I didn't agree with was the Kobe elbow to Jameer's face. But yet you automatically assume I think the Magic got all the calls last night, when I never said that. Just like you think I think the Finals are fixed, which I never said either. Instead of grasping on to things I never said, why don't you stop with the assumptions and start actually arguing things I did say . What happened to Pau, he should've just walked away, but instead he has to get into Pietrus face about it. Be professional, do the right thing, walk away and just don't worry about it. But, just like Kobe overreacting to a Dwight Howard reach in, has to get all gangster, when its laughable because I think Pietrus could destroy him if he wanted them to go 1-on-1.

LOL That's because it's common knowledge that when you think Ron Artest, "class" isn't the first word that pops into mind. Or so I thought. I would like to think you'd come to expect out of control and crazy antics from him. No?

Just because Pau Gasol is tall, thin with long hair and a scraggly beard doesn't mean people should expect him to act like Jesus Christ.
