Now it's that time where it seems there are no Lakers fans. If they win the next 2, you'll see them all over the place

kwame is coming off the books... we didn't trade for kwame, we traded for his expiring contract.... for 5 years we were told that all pau needed was a better player beside him and come to find out not even the best player on the planet is good enough....i guess he needs kobe, chris paul and tim duncan beside him to win a ring... pau's salary will go up (to about 15 or 16 million i think) and then multiply that by 2 due to the luxury tax.... i wish i could find a photo or video of pau throwing the ball over the backboard... i might be the biggest pau hater on the planet....today is celebration day....vindication day....looks like memphis didn't hand the fakers a championship and now everyone in the nation knows how soft pau is.... www.zshare.net/audio/907671b3379f/ <<<<< who wants a crying Spaniard? thanks for the pic, nate!!!!

The Lakers are only going to get better. Bynum is everything Gasol isn't. It will be interesting to see how well Gasol performs when he isn't forced to go up against the Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnetts of the world. You are going to have to be rooting for the Eastern Conference finals champion for a while. I couldn't really care less how much he makes. Im not paying his salary.

I was watching that game last night, and as i said i was really sick. I fell asleep mid 3rd quarter in disgust at the Celtics getting trampled. Woke up rolled over looked and it was 77 75 and thought i was hallucinating. That was probably the biggest collapse ever. In the 4th quarter it just looked like the Lakers were playing scared. Everytime a team takes a big lead in the NBA they give it up because they play to not lose the lead, not to pour more on to the lead. I'm happy KG will finally get his ring.

it was actually the last 6 minutes of the third quarter when the Celtics started to turn it on. coincidently the same time they went with the smaller lineup and started posting KG more.

So who is Memphis targeting with their freed up cap space? not sure....the might even save it for next year.... i hope they offer josh smith a max contract on day 1 of free agency... if the hawks match...and depending on who we draft (big or small), I'd like to see us try to sign one of the warriors RFA's (ellis or biendrins)

Instead of overpaying Gasol you want them to overpay Josh Smith?

You are high on crack if you think Monta Ellis isn't a max money player.

You are high on crack if you think Monta Ellis isn't a max money player. He will probably get max money but if Pau Gasol is not worthy of a max contract neither is Monta Ellis. Kevin Martin money seems more reasonable.
