I just don't see the point in worrying about whats going to happen after I die. I would rather worry about what is going on right in front of me, day to day.

That's true under the definition if you need to follow definitions but if you had read the whole post instead of taking out a sentence you would have understood that personally I don't really see a difference between agnostics and atheists. The means might not be exactly the same but the ends are. Both end up not following a god or religion. If I have to follow definitions? Your words have no meaning without commonly accepted definitions. What a bizarre statement. An atheist has just as much blind faith in something as a believer yet like to carry themself as some sort of intellectual superior. Its quite comical really. An agnostic does not. Agnostics dont turn into atheists any more than they turn into believers.

But whats really the point in having to know where you came from or why your alive. Just be happy to be alive.

Thats all that should matter then, cause there are many people who died unexpectedly and didn't get to live out their life. I am happy to be alive, thats all that matters to me really and living life up.

An atheist has just as much blind faith in something as a believer yet like to carry themself as some sort of intellectual superior. See that's the problem with definitions when applied to these things. That's the first time I've heard that definition of an atheist. It might be your definition and I see where you are coming from but it's not the common one. Simply put an atheist is someone who rejects any kind theism. More commonly someone who rejects religion. And while agnostics don't clearly state they reject it, they also don't follow it (except the agnostic theist). I wouldn't say an agnostic is half way between an atheist and a theist although it's often put like that. In popular language, when comparing religious vs non religious, atheists, agnostics and non-believers are all put in the same bag of non religious. Tecnically Buddhism that do not advocate belief in gods can be considered a form of atheism but usually when the word atheism is used, it's used to describe those that reject any kind of religion or "spiritual thinking". As you can easily find, definitions of these ways of thinking aren't black or white like the definition of most words and when used more commonly in conversations that don't pretend to be intelectual superior the definition of an agnostic and an atheist is used for the same purpose: someone who isn't religious.

Just because you are a Christian doesnt mean you do nothing in life lol. We are happy... Not saying your not happy, but I think you don't live life to its fullest spending time by worshiping something to give you a reason why your alive. Unless, you like to worship your religion and go to church and what not, that is your recreation hobby. My religion would be watching tons or sports and being active, that what I like to do and makes me happy.

Living life to the fullest can differ, and I try not to do illegal or things that are wrong, if you have to do those things to be living life, then something is wrong. You dont really have the concept of being a Christian down so its hard to get stuff through to you. I watch tons of sports and what do u mean by being active, socially active? That is what church is also lol...You can play sports at church or w/e too. But to you doing that is fun, to Christians going to church is fun. Just because your idea of living life is watching sports doesnt mean its everyone elses.

Who decides what things are illegal? The government? I think people's perception of things is misconstrued by what somebody else told them is wrong because that person doesn't do it or that fact they can't make money off of it. Cigarettes are legal, are those good? I have never done one and can't stand them, but I wouldn't say they are good because they are legal. Smoking pot is illegal in this country, but thats because our government is founded off of slavery with the cotton industry and the Hemp part of a marijuana plant is cheaper and stronger then cotton and would have destroyed the old money in the government.
And church is a different kind of social event, I think a lot of people are very fake friendly, then go home and talk shit about those people when there not around. Kind of like a huge gossip group, because they all know what is going on personally in many other people's life that go to the same church. Not saying you do that, but I know from experience that it happens, since some of my family would do it.

The law decides they are illegal lol...The Bible says you should abide by the Law of the Land, but everyone should do that. Its not other people telling you something is wrong, its the actual law lol...They arent illegal, but they are bad for you, which I also said I dont do things that are wrong, and in this case for my body. Nice history lesson I guess on pot, but its still labeled as illegal...
Have you ever been to a church? If not, you have nothing to base that statement on and I wont continue with this... And again those are fake Christians anyway. Ive been around true Christians, and you can just see the goodness.

I asked this question earlier in the thread, but never got an answer. Maybe someone can answer it this time? ya, just thought id share what I wrote, and I will talk about Jesus anywhere I go, because if you don't personally know Jesus Christ, then your gonna go to hell. I really don't want anyone to have to experience that. I really don't care what people say about it, but I will continue to talk, nothing will make me stop. There are several other religions around the world that say the same thing (if you don't believe, something bad will happen to you). What makes you so certain that you, your parents, and this country got it right - and the billions of people around the world who aren't Christians got it wrong? And please don't quote the bible to answer the question, as all those other religions have holy text that can be quoted to make them seem right too.
Also, Jogo is right about the definition of Atheist.

Why would a loving God send a billion people to hell, just because of where they lived, and how they were raised. I just can't see that.
