anybody watch the pilot of "flash forward"? it def. seems lost-ish, including a billboard for oceanic airlines. The pilot was interesting enough. Lots of intrigue, not TERRIBLE acting for the most part. Be interesting to see how it unfolds.
Inevitably you come to the whole time travel dilemma that some people just cant get over. Did the characters in the future realize what happened, or was that their future as if nothing had happened. What is the smoke monster?

dan, do u watch Supernatural? It's in season 5 now, but these last two seasons have concentrated more on the whole God, angels, demons, etc aspect Yeah I remember you mentioning it before. I've had interest in checking it out, just never have. I'm catching bits and pieces of "Sons of Anarchy" and liking what I see, I think I'll try to get into that. Plus, shows like "The Wire" look fascinating too. But I'll definetly keep "Supernatural" in mind. Do you still like it?

I had wanted to check that out, too bad I had to work from til 9 that night and it comes on at 8 . I'm still wondering what happened to Joseph Fiennes's acting career. One year he's the lead in the Best Picture of the Year, then not 3-4 years later he's only surviving in Indie projects. Funny you meation the "Oceanic" billboard, they also gave Dominic Monaghan (Charlie from "Lost") a part? Is this like some sort of apology for killing him off in "Lost"? But I do have interest in that show, anything done by the "Lost" creators, I'm definitely down for.

Penny is in the show too. And Charlie is credited for being in the first episode, but I dont remember seeing him. I will have to re watch it.
Fiennes character def. reeks of Jack from Lost, but he seemed pretty solid in the one episode so far.

If you've never seen the show though season one is a lot different from the point there at now. I think it's gotten better as they've gone whereas others might prefer the earlier stuff where it had a more monster of the week type feel

I'm sure I'll get around to it at some point. One of my friends at work is also a big fan of the show, I've heard very good things about it.

Saw the first two episodes, definitely not as engaging as Lost, as I don't care for any of the characters. Anyone watching Heroes? After last season's debacle I've sworn off the show for now. Is it better this year? Of all of the new shows this season I've heard good things about Modern Family, I need to check that out. Anyone else see that show yet?

I've seen the first 4 ep of Flash Forward and so far it looks intriguing enough to want more. Of course the concept can be flawed (the show is kind of following a destiny path but knowing your future in advance, couldn't you change it easily? Free will right?) but you have to keep an open mind so as long as it doesn't go the aliens/paralel universe path, I'm adopting that show as my 3rd replacing Heroes who I lost interested a while ago. Lost is still my main show and House is still enojoyable to watch. Don't want to lose much more time watching television shows and nothing else I've watched is interesting enough to watch on regular basis.

Flash Forward was good this week. I mean, if you think about it too much you just come to the destiny controversy, i mean, if the black captain guy KNOWS he is gonna be taking a shit on that time, when it comes, what if he just doesnt go shit?
Interested to see "charlie" from lost in another role.
Also ready for season 5 Lost on DVD to come out....
Oh and is it just me or is the main detective guy just gonna bang the babysitter?? Hence the end of his marriage?

Anyone catch the premiere of the show "The Prisoner" tonight on AMC? It was a two hour opening. I'll admit, I'm intrigued. Doesn't hurt when you have two formidable lead actors in Jim Caviezel (why did his acting career die after playing Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ", still a fine actor) and Ian McKellen (aka Gandalf from the "Lord of the Rings" movies). It's very atmospheric, slickly put-together, and for the most part, well-acted so far. I think I'll keep watching it.

Everyone here needs to be watching The League on FX. I watched the first episode and it was pretty much complete shit. There were a few funny things about fantasy football, but it went way off topic about unfunny things for the most part. Are subsequent episodes better? I have them sitting on my DVR.

the second episode was pretty funny. There were a couple mentions of fantasy football, but for the most part it had nothing to do with fantasy football. mainly sex jokes.
