So, what did everyone think about Thrones that watched it? Me, Steve, and Dash had already watched it and somewhat discussed. Shit was tense, kind of have more and more issues with it as the week went on, but as I've read and rewatched it, think I like it pretty well.
Still think some stuff in the episode is funny - Gendry running 50 miles in 10 minutes, it was obviously over a good several hours, at least 5 or 6. - There wouldn't be any maesters at Eastwatch, yet Davos called for one. - The most discussed raven in the history of ever. I'm of the opinion, given how the ice refroze and someone literally froze to death, they were on that rock a good 2 days or so. But still, in the matter of 20-30 minutes they got a raven from Eastwatch to the other end of the fucking continent and Danny on her dragons back up there. Thousands of miles, literally. - Giant ass motherfucking chain. PROOF THE NIGHTS KING IS A GREENSEER. This is what they've been doing instead of marching to the wall, forging and building a fucking football length chain for this exact moment, he knew. - Do you choose A) Flying dragon that is hard to hit and the smallest one there
or
B) Dragon that is directly in front of you, not moving, carrying the entire raiding party and someone who is very clearly important as hell, given the fact that shes decked out in nice ass clothes and is riding A FUCKING DRAGON, and also very clearly the biggest one there. - Sup Benjen. Bye Benjen. Good knowing you Benjen. There was clearly time to get you on that motherfucking horse. Not like its going to be explained, but horses have a hard as fuck time carrying 2 grown men, at full speed, long distances like that and Jon just got out of icy water and Benjen needed him to get to Eastwatch as fast as humanly possible given frostbite and hypothermia. Totally believable he wouldn't get on the horse. Not to mention it would weigh it down and the White Walkers are on horses and could have tracked them down pretty easily if they wanted. So its a believable moment, just mad at the loss of potential story there with Jon and Benjen reunited. - Lastly, poor Sansa. Been through all this shit, and still has to deal with the three weirdest fucking siblings ever.

Dany staying at Eastwatch would have made more sense than Gendry running, sending a raven and Dany making it in the nick of time.
I liked this one idea that Cersei requests that Tyrion bring her a wight as proof, which happens because Dany has Jaime prisoner.

So the NK has to be a greenseer like bran right? Thinking about it he was way too prepared(spear and the giant ass chains) for something he realistically shouldn't know 1) existed and 2) was coming.
If you're like me and believe they were on that rock for 3 days, which is about how much time it would have taken the lake to ice back over as it did, when the NK could have just strolled over it and froze the whole thing, like we've seen him do numerous times, then it's pretty damn clear he was waiting for something. Or just shitty writing but I'm liking to think the former.

Also pay close attention to if you can hear crows before or after a scene.

Could have some sort of connection there we don't know about or some other unexpained as yet thing. But the whole thing this last episode has begun to make me think he was waiting for Danys dragons to appear so he could take one or more.

It doesn't explain away all of the massive plot holes, but things do make far more sense if the Night King knew of this plan already, used a raiding party to draw them out, and surrounded them for days to bait dany into coming to the rescue and gifting them one or more dragons.

What plot holes? Like actually curious what you mean. Think most things can be explained easily and I wish the show has just gone deeper into them.

Subtle thing to let you know Bran is watching a particular scene.
